aribert made his own. Your issue is that Ford decided in its wisdom to have two sizes of carburettor, and then decided to have two diagonal bolt patterns, unique in that not many carbs bolt on directly. But each time, they bolted on a stock kind of upper adaptor to suit the carb.
In practice, you just need to make an aribert style lower adaptor plate."

I'll make you a good deal on it. If you will find out who is currently hosting this board and make a small donation (say $5 or $10) + pay shipping (if you are in the US, small priority fixed rate box will set you back about $6) I'll dig it out and send it to you. I do not see myself going back to the Autolite - it was only a temporary use when I first put the '78 200 into my Falcon. And if I really wanted to go back, I'll dust off the mill and make another one. Aribert
