BIG THANKS TO MEMBER XDEE!!!

Not a problem at all Dave. Glad I could help.
Actually it's all part of my fiendish plot to rid the world of all pressed steel xflow rocker covers.

oh dear, i am GOING to run rollers when i buy another one, when i brought the turbo stuff it also came with 11 roller rockers but i dunno wat brand they are :(

for now it has new std ones in the motor so hopefully they will last a little while...if they foul well, there is always ebay for the alloy one and ill just whack the pressed steel one back on so its cool

But i have seen all the other turbo xflow boys running the alloy cover so how you get away with it???

THey mainly only hit where the rocker cover steps down for the accelrtaor cable on the standard efi intake.. simply cut this out and get it tiged up.... and run a RUBBER rocker cover gasket.. If you are running stud mounted rockers with guide plates, they may clear a bit more than yella terra with the adjuster on the tip of the roller.

Looking good , i see theres a turbo photo in there .Have you used this turbo yet or know of anyone who has used this type ? We have a few of this brand in NZ and wanted to get some feedback on this type as they are a reasonable price.

no i havent used the turbo as yet, i took it to the turbo shop and the brand new turbo was stuffed, had shavings and swarfs all threw it and i was lucky i took it to the turbo guys to take a look! I brought it off ebay and basically, i learnt the heard way that if you wanna play with turbos, stick to the known brands as the quality is miles better, basically the new turbo, the only thing i can use off it is the front wheel and housing, the rest had to be re done with new housings and shaft...not happy but, live and learn and the turbo is back to get her and awaiting payment:) new pics soon!!!

The yellaterra bolt-ons all hit, well they do if you have an EFI cover on an iron head not too sure bout the alloy head tho

if they hit you can always make one of these

whoa that spacer is sweeeeet! sounds like a goer!!!

And guess wat, the turbo is back, i dummy fitted it today!!

Struck a couple of minor problems tho, as u do i guess.

1) my cast manifold dont really line up with all the bolt holes to well so looks like ill have to do something about that...its mainly the top holes the bottoms seem ok

2) the front housing on the turbo, one of the bolts just hits the manifold so im going to have to get the front housing moved 180deg and as you will see in the pic anyway, thats definatly not how i wanted the front housing to be but, simple thing to fix, the blokes at the turbo shop are brilliant! (FREE PLUG, MTQ Engine Systems)

As you may notice my turbo now sports a new water cooled centre housing and, a new t4 rear exhaust housing to suit the manifold, (the turbo originally was a oil cooled centre and smaller t3 housing, long storey)

Anyway check out the pics, its slowly getting there!!!!!!!!!!
