Buying a crate 200 engine

COnsidering buying a rebuilt crate 7yr/70,000 motor. Has anyone gone this route before or have company in mind that they have used.

Have you considered rebuilding your motor yourself 8) . Not that hard and lots of information available.

I considered it when I did mine. Opted for a good engine shop instead that could do the machining I needed. It cost marginally more than a crate engine but I could see the work being done and talk to the guys doing the work. Also, got some extras like over sized valves, lots of porting, milled head/decked block. Well worth the money in my mind.
