There will NOT be if they are both from either a 170 or 200 Ford Small Six, then they will be exactly the same Bolt Mounting Patterns! The Major difference in those two C4 Transmissions is that the 1964 to 1966 Transmissions used the Duel Range (Green Dot type) Valve body's, they are not ideal for anything but a stock type restoration. The 1967 to 1981 C4's will all have the Select Shift type Valve Bodies these are a much better choice for any performance use. One last note those 1964 to 1966 Duel Range C4's can be upgraded / or converted to a "Select Shift Trans" with one of the 1967 to 1969 Valve Body's those years will be able to Swap into them if you happen to locate one. Good luck
This note is info for any other's that might see this post: Also be aware that all of the "Ford O or "Merc O Matic's" that were installed on a 1960 to 1964 Ford & Mercury 144, 170, or early 200 Small Six's, besides all of the C4 Auto Transmissions that were used in Ford's & Mercury's from 1965 to 1981 on any 170 or 200 Small Six also use that same Block Bell Housing Bolt Pattern too. So if you ever wanted to bolt a C4 3 Speed Trans into your early (Falcon, Comet, or Fairlane to name a few) in place of your old Ford O Matic 2 Speed it will bolt right and can be done with just a little bit of work.
