cam = how much hp

will I get anny hp from puttin an isky cam in my 250 its the one that the power range is 1000- 4500 or 1000-5000 I forget what it said :roll:

well I put a k&n air filter on it but I`m gona put a 79-83 head on it 2 1904 hollys hedder single out 2 1/2 egsoust and a glaspack some day nos will be in the picter too

Theoretically, the TA is a turbo cam. The 256 cam might be a better choice for a non-turbo application. Just my thoughts.

If its in the same relative powerband range but has increased lift, then it should add some power right? I'm not necessarily saying a whole lot of more peak hp, but somewhere in the powerband that hp should go up. Or I'm an idiot,... whichever.

I got a better deal on a cam 204 duration from napa $109.oo with tax and shipping 120.60 I would have got the other one but I needed to get a master cilender for my jeep and I cant get the core untill monday :x
