he SAYS its an autolite...but....

Looking for a deal... is Stovebolt Engine Co. not selling the rebuilt 32/36s for $65 anymore?

Well, the bottom carb is an Autolite 5200 series progressive and looks like it has a lot less junk attached to it. I´d take it if the price was right.

john...will that fit on the clifford adaptor and be a good carb?

Chaz, that bottom one looks very, very similiar to my 32/36 I purchased from Stovebolt. But wether it's a 5200 or 32/36, yes, they should fit with the Clifford adapter. I could be wrong but I think Cliffords adapter will allow either a Motorcraft, Weber or Holley. It has a larger opening than what Stovebolt sells making it almost universal but don't quote me on that...

The 5200 is a ¨32/36¨... meaning diameter in mm of the throttle plates.

Yes, it will fit Clifford´s adapter the same as a Weber would.

Will it work well? Most likely not without some jet changes.

gettin so tired of the car running like crap. I went out and fiddled with my carb.,...my choke is bad...

when its cold, it will run for a few seconds, then die...when its hot, it races like its going 100

so i looked at my soare motorcraft/holley and looked at the linkage...looks ikethe linikage on my on-car carb is messsed up some how...doesnt spring back...so NO CHOKE
