carb adapter help

Because I'm putting my 3.8 carb'd draw through buick turbo on my '67 200 I6 as a draw through, I need an adapter to bolt the turbo outlet on to my intake, the easiest way I see to do it is to get 1 of the holley/webber rectangle bore adaptors that I think have a big enough opening, then bolt a peice of steel on top of that, cut out with the right hole and bolt pattern for the turbo, this sound good?

I got a block of aluminum and used gaskets for a pattern on top and bottom of the block, then machined the openings in the block. Your method should work also.

cool, only thing I see that I will have a problem with is hood clearence but, I could always get a glass' hood and glass' in a reverse teardrop. :)

why not just weld a 2 bolt flange on a length of a u-bend? keeping the tubular outlet form the turbo and feeding that right into the log would be the easiest way to go I would think. Much easier than adaptors and plates and all that junk.
