HI ALL
I'm looking to do a carb change on my 200 and I'm looking for a or almost direct swap with a little more CFM. Are all the YF Carb the same or are the YF's for the 240 turck motor more CFM's than the YF's for like the 200 car motor?? Or should I look into a RBS??
Thanks
tim

Howdy Tim:

1.) 170 ci carb was rated at 150 CFM's. (1967 - 1972)
2.) 200 ci carb was rated at 187 CFM's. (1970 - 1979
3.) 250 ci carb was rated at 193 CFM's (1975-1979).
The RBS, rated at 215 was used on 250 engines from 1969 - 1974
4.) 300 ci carb was rated at 220 CFM's. (?)

Doug, aka Mustang Geezer has used both the 250 YF and the 300 YF, with varing degrees of success. Better check with him for details.
