carb swap

i have a stock 170 in my mustang with a 200 in my garage ready to rebuild.I can't afforf the rebuild this year but do have to rebuild the autolite on my 170.What I was thinking for this year is to rebuild the YF Carter on my 200 and swap out onto the 170.Would this be a noticable improvement?

Sure, It would be a good improvement!

Thats where I 1st started on mine. Carb swap then I switched to a Duraspark distributor, then a ram air system, then a electric fan and so on and so on....
