Carby Photos!!!! 2V

Hi,

Can someone please show me some pics of their carby on their ford 250 2v?

I ask because i am in the middle of fitting a new 2v head and dont know how the carby and links go together?

Do you need to change any cables or links, if you change from a standard 250 to a 250 2v?

I've got the original 2 barrell stromberg that came out with the 2v head!

But any pics of 2v carbys would be good!

are you on the ford forums by any chance??
by the way with the 2 barrell carby on my 2v i got it facing the rocker cover because the linkage i scored was a modified v8 one so i dont know how the standard one sits, i got 2 standard 2v linkages for the xy but i havent tried using them

Yep I sure am on Ford Forums,

i have heard that a modified 302 linkage would work but havent seen any pics of them?So if you could send one of yours it would be great!

Just out of interest how does your 250 2v go? Any work been done to it?
Does it beat the new ba/bf falcons?

yeah it beats them when it wants to. i stuffed around with it a couple of weeks ago and now it goes backwards, i got done by an ea ex cab of all bloody things! ill take some pics of the linkage setup i have hopefully on the weekend and post them for you. by the way im rushing on acid in the ford forum

Tom, read frustration....my daughters have nicked the cable for the bloody camera. Have taken some shots. Wont be able to do anything until I get back from an interstate trip early next week.
