Changing out LOM Dizzy

I am going with a Weber carb on my 66 200, and will be changing out the Load-o-Matic. I already have a 1261 Pertronix module in the old LOM . Anyone know if the 1261 will work on the later 68 to 74 distributor?

Why not go with a Duraspark?

I already have the pertronix module - hate to not use it - it's almost new.

The part numbers I have for pertronix say for 64-67 LOM only and 68 above for hollow shaft dizzys. In that case go with the duraspark you wont regret it.

I bought a DS2 set up off some one here (being shipped now) and also have a new Pertronix. I figure if everyone on here says the DS2 set up is better all the way around than Pertronix, then full steam ahead.
