Ciffy 2-V Adapter Height and Holley 2300 Height

Does anyone know what the height of the cliffy 2-V adapter is? I have the stovebolt adapter but I just replaced my 200 with a 250 and I don't have room under the hood for it anymore. Is the cliffy one any shorter? Also, how tall is the Holley 2300 500cfm? Is the height different than the Holley/Weber 5200 which I have now? Both of those carbs have the same bolt pattern, right?

Is the cliffy one any shorter? I don't have the Clifford adapter here at hand , but it is about 3.5" tall.


Both of those carbs have the same bolt pattern, right? NOPE! The 2300 has the big base 4 x 5 3/4 bolt pattern typical of FoMoCo two barrels. The H/W has a small base 4 1/4 x 2 1/2.

Here's a picture that'll help. The inner bolts are for the H/W. The outer is for the Holley 2300.
