Clay Smith Cam

How well would a Clay Smith H64/74 10 dual pattern cam work in a 170 bored .040, decked to zero, 250 head milled for 8.9 compression, 2 barrel carb with bolt on adaptor from Stovebolt. 3 speed standard with a 3.something rearend. the cam has the following specs.
Intake duration at .050 is 214 and intake valve lift is .480. Exhaust duration at .050 is 224 and exhasut lift is .480. Would this work okay in my engine? thanks

8) one thing to remember is that as engine displacement goes down, the radicalness of the cam goes up. if these cams are designed for a 200ci engine, then in the 170 it will act like a cam about 8% bigger. for the cam you selected though it is not enough to worry about. in fact that is likely the cam i will use when i rebuild my 170.
