I just got off the phone with Sherry at Clay Smith and she wanted to know if I still wanted the 264/264-12. Vintage Inlines no longer shows "out of stock." So it looks like Clay Smith inline cams are available. Anyone know anything different?
I would go with Schneider Cams.
Call Jerry & he is familiar with our inline sixes.
The big mystery with Clay Smith Cams is there are new updates on especially the 264 as far as duration @.050". They are in the process of redoing the masters, so for the present go Schneider or Howard.
Make sure you degree it in. As i stated before they may list it at 214 Degrees @ .050' but when you degree it let us know how it really checks out. Some of the older 264's had close to 217 degrees @ .050. The lift is listed for using a 1.6 rocker are. They do not mention the duration @ .050 whether it is also calculated with a 1.6 rocker ratio.
The 112 L/C will smooth you idle especially with a C4 trans with a stock stall converter.
