Clearance Issues solved on Holley Weber 5200!!! Look at Pics

I'm using a 3" filter, the base plate from adapter from stovebolt, and 2 barrel adapter from Clifford.

We attached the bottom of the air cleaner to the base plate, then used allen heads and attached the base plate adapter to the carb itself.

This clears the hood by about 1/8 of an inch!!!

Also forgot to mention how I got the carb to adjust with no dead spots and has lots of power.

We drilled out the throat jets. Here's the jet sizes of anyone is interested....

Primary..............059.................Airbleed......059

Secondary..........063.................Airbleed......076


This gave the best low end acceleration and the best top end pull

Looks nice! Do you have a part # for the Clifford filter cover?

I got the top from Summit Racing. It is a plain vanilla low profile air cleaner. Can't find the part number. I had to toss the skinny air cleaner and get one that was 3 inches tall. It sold for about 30 bucks plus shipping.
