Hi Colorado66. I am trying to do the tri-carb setup also with the 34 ICH webers. Do you have electronic choke for the middle carb? Plus did your carbs come with the throttle arm? Mine did not have the arms and i am trying to get some. I also got a 68 dual distributer but i am not sure which line i hook my vacuum line to on it.

Regarding the dizzy, you are correct. You do need a 68-73 dual advance dizzy for your tri-cab set-up. This is because you need the mechanical advance system. However, you don't need to use (hook-up) the vacuum advance at all. See my comment under "vacuum advance and PCV with offy".

I don't have the electronic choke for my middle carb as my Mustang is pretty much relegated to weekend and nce weather driving. I most likly will though at some point install a manual choke. You can buy the kits for them pretty much anywhere and I was thinking of hiding the pull out knob in either the ashtray or just mounting it under the dash.

I agree with Steve's comments on the distributor. I went with a mechanical advance only Mallory Unilite. I hate having to deal with points, and while this was a littel bit more expensive, I thought it was worth it.

With regards to the throttle arm, are you talking about the arm that actually hooks to the card, or the linkage. I can take some pictures of it for you so you know what to look for.
