About to rebuild my block. I am not sure what the oil clearance should be for the rod and crankshaft. Any help would be great.

Ford's factory specs on a stock 200 Crankshaft sizes and bearing clearances. "CrankShaft diameter for the Main Journals ranged from between 2.2482 inches and 2.2490 inches, and for the Rod Journals it was between 2.1232 and 2.1240 inches. Main bearing Clearance of .0005 to .0022, and Rod bearing Clearance of .0008 to 0024."

For a long lasting stock street driver you could go with the tighter side of the scale also if you want to use very light grade oils. For a more Hi Performance build I usually go towards the looser side with at least .0015 to .0020. Good luck on your build
