crankshaft balancing a 200?

I just got some flat top pistons for my new 200 im building and I was wondering if it is necessary to have the crank balanced to accommodate for the extra weight of the pistons, if so then would they just weigh the old piston/rod and grind the new piston/rod till the new p/r weighs the same as the old p/r or is this going to be expensive?

No, on the six cylinder engine if you want to balance the crankshaft that would be a good idea, but not necessary.
If you have some extra $$ the shop will balance the crankshaft by itself, then balance each piston to match the lightest piston.
Then weigh the small end of the rod & again match the lightest one & the same with the big end. Thats it , but also the flex plate or flywheel.
On a V8 i believe you take all the rotating weight & 50% of the reciprocating weight & that is the weight of the bob weight you put on the crankshaft to achieve proper balance.
