Does anyone know if any US engines share the same valves and springs as the crossflow? Just wanted to see if I would luck out on these like I did with the lifters and roller rockers by being able to get them in the US.

No, not specifically. Try 3.8 or 4.2 Essex 90 degree valves from 1982 to 1993 Fox body Lincolns and Fords, the 1990 to 2004 Taurus and its Merc cousins and 1997 to 2004 F150 trucks. They run the same rocker gear.

I've got HSC 2.3/2.5 specs, but haven't had time to check them.

VALVE HEAD DIAMETER
Intake......... 43.76-44.37 mm (1.72-1.74 in.
Exhaust....... 37.9-38.3 mm (1.49-1.5 in.)

VALVE STEM DIAMETER
Intake......... 8.677-8.694 mm (0.3415-0.3422 in.)
Exhaust....... 8.664-8.682 mm (0.3411-0.3418 in.)
Oversize
..Intake......... 9.058-9.075 mm (0.3566-0.3572 in.)
..Exhaust....... 9.045-9.063 mm (0.3561-0.3568 in.)
Oversize
..Intake......... 9.439-9.456 mm (0.3716-0.3722 in.)
..Exhaust....... 9.045-9.063 mm (0.3561-0.3568 in.)

The rocker ratio is 1.56, not the 1.73:1 ratio the Chevy, Ford 335, 385, Essex 3.8-4.2 and x-flow ran.

I've been busy making an inventory of the listings, but I'm unable to dump it on the net just yet.

Just ordered an intake and exhaust valve from a 3.8. I will pull valves off the crossflow head and measure and compare the two. Looking at the specs in the manuals it looks close. I will have the new valves on mon, I will post what I find. They said that I can return the valves if it doesn't work so I have nothing to loose.

Depending on the model, the X-flow valves are basically US Cleveland 351 2V rip offs, made in a smaller head diameter, and very slighly longer in overall length:

Intake Diameter. 1976 to 1984, 1.74" diameter or 1985 to 1993, 1.80". Note: 1.72" valves are often used if the orignals are re-cut. There is sufficient valve seat for this, and the total valve height is not altered much

Intake guide. 1976 to 1993, 11/32" nominal, or 8.66 mm blueprinted. In inches, blue print dimension is 0.3409"

Intake length (total). 1976 to 1993, 5.307" nominal, or 134.80 mm blueprinted. The valve has a 125 thou recess in the valve head.

Exhast Diameter. 1976 to 1993, 1.51" diameter. Note: less than 1.51" valves are often used if the orignals are re-cut. There is sufficient valve seat for this, and the total valve height is not altered much

Exhast guide. 1976 to 1993, 11/32" nominal, or 8.66 mm blueprinted. In inches, blue print dimension is 0.3409"

Exhast length (total). 1976 to 1993,5.052" nominal, or 128.32 mm blueprinted. The valve has a 125 thou tulip section in the base.

In terms of options, the Cleveland valves are exactly the same, but have about 77 thou lower total lengths on the intake valves. It is not worth redoing a bunch of cheap 351C valves to fit your X-flow unless you install lash caps and get the machining done cheaply. One guy here has installed 351 2v stainless intakes, turned down from 2.047" to 1.96".

Over here, some guys have used some American made L34 Holden exhast valves, as they are the same length and guide size as the X-flow exhast valves, but are 100 thou bigger.

Funny thing is, all the aftermarket valves are often ex USA anyway. Segedins in the North Island import white box US Performance valves through there US supliers at very competitive rates. Becasue of the shear production capacity, a good deal of aftermarket x-flow gear, such as cams, timing chain sets and valves are US made.

Got the 3.8 V6 valves and they wont work

Intake is 1.78 diam
stem 0.3419
face angle 44*
valve length 4.842

exhaust is 1.46 diam
stem 0.3411
face angle 44*
valve length 4.850

I was thinking they might work till I got to the length

I got some sitting on the shelf here
INT 45.65 X 8.66 X 134 .8 about $10.50 each nzd
EXH 38.3 X 8.66 X 126.50 $ 9.50 each nzd
try cleveland 4v 351 V8 valve springs they should be the same .
spring is a single with damper 1.475" od..... 1.060 id of outer spring
id of inner is 0.930"
free length is 2.155"
solid height of spring is 1.140"
installed height 1.820"
installed pressure 110
pressure@.5 lift 280
max lift .640
These specs are for the uprated springs what are recommend if your using anything with more grunt than a stock cam ,get the uprated retainers as well as collets ,im sure clevo multi groove bits are the same.

Thanks Dave. For that price I will probably just get them from you when I get some more of my stuff in Jan. I paid about $15 ea for these. I will return them and apply that money towards the US 250 oil pump. :)
