Took my car to the mechanic so he would install the sintered bronze disc I bought....to make a long story short my mechanic said the stock PP was shot. He and a friend found a neat replacement. A diaphragm PP from a 2.3 Mercedes Benz L4. Apparently the PP from this car is the same diameter, and bolt circle as the stock 3-finger. The only thing they had to do was to mill the flywheel rim so the disc would sit properly.
It feels like a completely new car now.
Now all I need is to test it with :nox:
