They were all mechanical in the 6 cylinder mustangs for 65/66 (I’m not sure about 67/68) but… Weird thing is, this is the 3rd time in so many days I’ve seen one of those brackets. One was in a 66 mustang, the other a 60’s Bronco and then this one.

If you want a cable, take a look at my Mustang build thread. I used a later modified pedal, Lokar cable and a nice bracket. I can post links to the parts if you're interested.
