Difference between 2300 and 5200

I am looking at ordering a NOS kit for my fairlane. The only one I see listed is for a 2300. I have the 5200. Can I use it? If not what should I go for? http://www.holley.com/HiOctn/ProdLine/P ... rshot.html

IIRC the rochestor can be drilled out to the 5200 pattern? the 2300 uses a larger off center bolt pattern.

8) the 5200 is much smaller carb than the 2300. the 2300 is more like the 2100 autolite that is found on V8 fords.

Best thing to do, IMO, would be to build your own system using a single fogger nozzle screwed into the side of your adapter plate. "Import Killer" is running a setup like that and it seems to be working very well for him.

The Holley 5200 is a licence copy of a Weber DGEV 2bbl carb.

The Holley 2300 is a 2bbl version of the Holley 4160.

Many of the 4160 parts relating to jets and such will work on the 2300.
