Differences between 200 and 250

Are there any easy ways to tell the difference bewtween a 200 and 250?

Except for the last of the 200s ('80-83, don't you just love the exceptions to the rule), a 200 has the starter above the oil pan, tucked up next to the block. The 250's starter is below the oil pan line & uses the 240/300, 289/302/351 bellhousing. Also, the 250 has a physically taller block, almost 2" taller.
