does a ranger have any usefull parts??

Hi
I have a chance to pickup an 84 ranger for Free ......
It has the 2.3 4cyl.(toasted) brand new carb.(1 b) . well that work on my 200cu.
it also has a 5 spd. will that work on the 200cu. I'm running a 3spd out of a 72 mav. now. (stick)

If you cut the old spring perches off and weld on new ones, the rear end may be usable. Check the width.
