Dry Sump Oiling System

Ok, last time I knew there still has not been anyone willing to manufacture a new oil pan for us sixers. What is the possibility of instead of a wet sump oil pan, a dry sump system which would really turn heads and also allow us to move the engine down slightly in the frame, thereby lowering the center of gravity of the car plus creating more clearance room for custom intake setups. Just a thought.

The block sits about as low as it can go right now. The sump is right up against the crank throws on the shallow end of the pan, where it goes over the cross-member.
On the other hand, a nice finned cast aluminum dry sump pan would look very cool. A nice finned cast aluminum high capacity wet sump pan would look nice too. $$$ to make, though.
Gilmer belts, mounting brackets for the pump, hoses, where the heck to hang the 3 gallon oil tank...
Sounds like a V 8 Alfa project ;).
