Have had my dui recurved and modified already. Question is how do I know if my vac advance is working right? Thanks little knowledge to the dui and 200. Carb is a holley 350 with modified metering block for 200.

Jim, take a hand held vacuum pump & apply vacuum to the advance can.
If the advance is working you will see the plate move if you have the cap off.
You can then see when the advance starts in " & when it reaches full advance.
If the engine is running & a timing light is hooked up you will see the advance mark move as vacuum is applied.
If you are using ported advance the timing mark will jump when the throttle is opened.
If its hooked to manifold vacuum remove the vacuum hose & see if you see a change in idle speed & movement of the timing mark if you have a timing light attached.
