i've seen you guys refer to dropping a 12 counter weight EF crank into a X-flow, but can't find the details. so i have some questions.

is the ef crank a drop in deal in a late XF block or is there some machining required?
will 200 X-flow rods work with an EF crank or would AU rods be better? also is EF crank same as AU?
what pistons and balancer are required?
is the flywheel blot pattern the same?
what is the benefits of this swap?

also if some of the EF motors didn't have a dizzy what ignition system did they have and could it be used in a X-flow?
sorry for asking so many questions, thanx guys.

au rods will be a lil to short as the 250 deck is higher, u will need to use 200 rods .
Bolt pattern is the same just metric, slighly smaller holes, all bearings are the same.
not sure on snout length but standard 250 balcaer willfit ((((i think)
