Engine Color

Can someone please tell me what the original colors were for Ford/Mercury inline 6's from 1960-on? Thanks.

At least that's for the Falcons. I know some of the Comets had gold air cleaners.

My '65 Comet has a bright yellow air cleaner and valve color. The head and block appear to have been black, but there really isn't any paint left there.

my '76 250 has a ford blue valve cover, air cleaner, and p/s pump. Iam assimong the block was the same

1961 Comets: Block is black.
144 Valve cover and air Cleaner are yellow
170 Valve cover and Air Cleaner are Silver
I'm pretty sure the oil filler cap is black on both.
Air Cleaner decal says Thrift Power.
