Not sure if this is the correct area of the forum but... The engine numbers on my block are: D5TE-6015-AA. There is also a 6K21 number on it. And then an X with a 7 under it. Can anyone tell me anything about this engine, from those numbers. I'm thinking "AA" might be agricultural application since I removed it from a tobacco harvester. Thanks in advance!

The casting numbers (or more correctly Engineering Numbers) will tell you the year the part was first designed, the model line that the part was made for, ID the part, and tell you if the part was changed or changed more then once.
D5TE-6015-AA
D is for the decade = 1970
5 is for the year = 1975
T is for the Model Line = Truck
E is the Engineering Department = Engine
Part number 6015 = is the basic part number for an Engine Block
Design change = A is first time part was changed
Design change = A
The date code along with the casting numbers above will tell you the real date the part was cast.
6K21
6 is the year = 1976
K is the month = October
21 is the day of month
Not sure about the last number and letter, but X Can sometimes denote a Special Vehicle part use or Experimental part use, I don't know for sure what that 7 is for. For more clues it would also require knowing the Brand, year, serial number of the equipment and or having the owners or repair manual.
So you have a Ford 300 Truck engine block that was cast at the foundry on Oct. 21, 1976. It may vary well be an industrial or Heavy duty version of the 300 truck engine since you pulled it out of agricultural equipment. Hope that helps you, good luck
