Engine Mount Thread.

I bought some new Engine Mounts from Espo -

The ones in the car appeared to have a M8 thread, But those nuts do not work on the new mounts. Neigher will 5/16-18 or 5/16-24.

Can anyone clue me in on what they are supposed to be ?

well you could mic them out for diameter then get a thread gauge to figure out the pitch. or call espo and ask them. are the threads clean or covered in crudy thick paint?

They are fairly clean, but the paint could be a problem.

They are either 5/16 or 8mm.

5/16-24 seems to get more than 1/4 turn on so maybe its just the paint.

There's two pitches of M8: 1.25 and 1.0mm

Yeah, and I'm not sure which I got. I think it was 1.0

Just incase anyone stumbles on this in a search -

The correct thread is M8 fine pitch, which I belive is the 1.00 thread pitch.
