I went to bed before you sprung that one on me!

ACL gives 1.53" compression height, with a 0.912" pin for all the 200-250 family using factory rods.

8) you are getting slow in your old age there adam thanks again. it seems with a little work one can use a 6" rod from a small block chevy and a stock piston in a 250. in this case the piston would stand proud of the block .020" by my calculations.
