Exhaust manifold gasket:

I am running Cliffords Dual out headers. It seems that the header bolts came loose enough for the gasket material to get burned and now I have an exhaust leak. I could go with the traditional exhaust gasket, but I was wandering if anyone new if copper gaskets were available for the 68 200 CI in-line sixes.
Please let me know.
Ted

No. copper gaskets are available.

But, you can use the normal gasket and coat both sides with Permatex Ultra Copper.

Or get some copper sheet and make your own gaskets.

Or I sell Stage 8 Locking Header bolts that you can use which will not back out.

Ted,

Be carefull you don't get into this situation when using a shelf gasket on the OZ head. If you can do without one for a week or two, I have ROL custom manufacturing header gaskets for me. The 3rd and 4th ports will be split, and will be correctly sized for use with either the Pacemaker, FSPP, or Clifford headers. They hope to ship them by the end of next week, so I will let you know as soon as they get here if your interested.

mike, have you thought about getting head gaskets reproduced to the original thickness? seems like a good idea to me, would help out alot.

Yep. I talked with the guys at ROL about them, unfortunately their head gaskets are the same thickness as Felpro. So I'll keep checking around.

I am also working with them on complete sets or individual gaskets, and hope to stock all the small six gaskets within a few weeks.
