I'm interested in this too. I want to place the muffler somewhere other than the stock location behind the right rear tire. How about in front of the gas tank like the mustangs? Along side the drive shaft?

i was thinking of using a single to duel muffler before...one of those sidways ones...it would mount above the driveshaft, right in front of the differential. sorta like the picture except i think it would have to be before the differential cause i dont think theres enough room between the diff and the gas tank.

it looks like it would fit if you twisted it around a little bit and have it up and down like the stock mustang muffler between the tank and diff.

Hello,

I too am interested in upgrading my exhaust.
The headers you have, did you simply remove the stock exhaust manifold and mount the headers without modification? Can I still use my 1 barrel carb? I am looking for a more "beefier sound". Could this be achieved without the headers and a "throaty" single exhaust? If so, have you seen such a thing? If yes or no, do you know where I can get a complete, aluminized single exhaust system?
