Exhaust upgrade advice?

Hey, my dad and I are restoring a 1980 f-150 with a 300 inline 6 in it and its time for the exhaust work to be done. We're more bodymen and painters when it comes to restoration so I was hoping to get some advice on what products to use. We're not looking to do headers, and high flow pipes and all that stuff, maybe just a magnaflow muffler, something to give it a good deep sound. Any advice on what mufflers sound the best for the inlines would be great, thanks!

Opinions are like a part of human anatomy, everbody's got one. Personally I despise that raspy, "Tuner" sound so I would stay away from the "sewer" pipes and glass packs and go with a baffle type turbo muffler, tho some say the magnaflow is a little loud. Some people have video clips posted with sound so do a search, if you haven't already done so post this in the big block forum to see what other 300 owners have done. Good luck!

A friend of mine has an 82 f100 with the 300, he has a dual out header and dual pipes out the back with 2 glasspacks, sounds pretty good IMO. Not too loud but a nice tone to it.
