A Farmall Project from a few years ago.

It was 221 cu/in, before I bored and stroked it to 379 cu/in.


A lot of welding to make 5.25” stroke.


Plenty of grinding to get everything to clear


Custom billet rods.



Custom dish pistons ( 12:1 comp) , 3.915” bore , ARP studs and not many.



1.84/1.5” Chevy valves



“Straight valve” truck head, Beehive springs.

It's been a very competitive engine.
Now it has cracked a cylinder after many seasons of competition.
I half filled the block, but maybe went a little too far in bore size.
It's supposed come back this winter for a sleeve and freshen up.
I'd like to convert it to microsquirt. (Carb now)

All manifold came from me and my dad's shop except the turbo manifold, althougb can't take credit for the fab work have talent in the area

Same engine with a big turbo and alcohol mechanical injection. Nicely done.

Thanks for sharing this project! Fascinating stuff. I'm an engine junky, and really appreciate getting to learn about engines I've never had any experience with; particularly custom builds like this one. Very nicely done!!
