Hi Folks

Gutted the engine bay and tried the new set up with Offy tri power and a T5
Got the PITA Holleys and old Badger Trumpets and the miserable Cliffy header

Top of the motor

Drivers Side

Shock Tower

MSD

Badger Geneator Cover

I have a long way to go - she fires and runs
Any suggestions on how to run the heater hoses and make them look good?
Also need better filters for the carbs

Any feedback (positive or negative) is appreciated

Pull the heater hoses over to the fender well, away from the block/exhaust. You can get generic heater hose and buy as much as you need. There are clamps you can get but I used black zip ties to secure it low on the side.

Do u think braided hose covers will look okay? Do they affect the cooling efficiency of the motor?

Heater hoses look real good that way. I can't see the braiding having any significant effect. Besides, when you use the heater in Holland you kinda want all the heat you can get, right? The dissipation comes from the radiator and heater core.

Skip the zip ties. You have something much more sophisticated there.

I love that fuel rail too. Nice job. Is that American or Euro spec tubing and fittings?

Well - fired the Comet tonight, now the cooling system needs to be installed and EVERYTHING else put back together
I think it's going to be a long summer!

I need to stop by and see what his rates on for some generic 302 stuff. Rehone, etc. Just haven't had a chance to make it up that way lately. Not that it's far away, but I gotta swing up and see.
