because i'm lazy to find out stock part numbers  i'd thought i'd ask here. will a stock starter from a 302 / 289 with a C4 fit a 250 I6 with a C4?

reason for the question is i'm just thinking of using a ford motorsport mini starter for the 250 I6. i'm really happy with the same starter in my other cars but they are v8s and i thought it would be good for header clearance in the 250 I6.

anyways the part number

M11000A50 which is a 1.1 kw

or a

M11000-B50 which is a 1.6 kw

heres a link to the starter

any help would be great thanks in advance!

The small block starters work with the 250. The ones you have listed above should work fine with a 250, but the higher power one shouldn't be necessary unless you built a 12:1 monster.
