Frezze Plug Installation Info Needed

I will have to install a few frreeze plugs on my Maverick. Is there a sealant that needs to be applied to the outside surface when installing these?

I always use # 2 Permatex, after making sure all the old crud is cleaned out.

Yep,same here.Clean the holes well,and use #2 Permatex(R) around the outer edge of the core plug.

8) i also use #2 permatex after cleaning the sealing surfaces. in fact when i install a screw in core plug i use #2 permatex.
