Got the first two proto types from the foundry today. They look great. Still need to have them machined and finished to verify fit and appearance before sending the pattern back east to have the match plate produced. But I think its fine.
Also found some matching air cleaners. So happens my pattern maker made the patterns for these, for another company. So I'll be offering them in matched sets with the new covers (same finishes). The fins are the same size, spacing, and count, so they should look great together as a set. 8)
The cover to the left is the master used to make the sand castings. The two to the right, are the first two proto types. Remember they still need to be machined and finished, so they look a little rough.
