Fuel pressure erratic

Gday guys, Im wondering if anyone can help.Ive got a electric fuel pump from a Holden VL turbo commadore (3 litre inline engine)running to the 575 Barry Grant Mighty demon carb and a Barry Grant Fuel regulator that bypass's back to tank.My problem is it want hold pressure but jumps up and down all the time non stop. Any ideas?

Maybe it holds the pressure until demand on the fuel pump, your pretty much out of my leage on this build, you did the best 250 I have ever seen, can you dyno it easily once you get it tuned out. I was fairly proud of my build until I seen yours, very professional.

Just had a brain fart, maybe the diaphram in the regulator has a hole in it.
