to all the pack rats and part-number librarians in our forum:
what are the differences between the carter #M6399 (til '74) #6681 ('75 only) and #M60330 ('76-up, later re-numbered TRW 55801)?
All three pump models were used on 200ci and 250ci engines; yet, the pump arm on a recently aquired 60330 has a different angle than the old (Canadian made) pump I pulled from the '69 block.
Also, does anyone know the correct part number of the SMP ("standard") replacement fuel pump for our small six? All that the vendors here can provide are bin numbers, not the actual part numbers. The standard#40957 has a completely different arm.
