Maybe some pocket porting on the head if your haven't already done that.
The cam should be good with the C4, I have the same one.
 
the head is ported and has had bigger valves installed, how does the cam sound? how does your car run? im trying to make the car into a car i can take racing on occasion, rite now it will keep up with the hondas
 
Are you running a stock torque converter? If so you should look into a higher stall around 2500-2800 rpm. Rear gear around 4:11 or more depending how tall a rear tire you use and if you run 1/4 or 1/8 mile.
 
the converter is stock, ill prob get it sent out to set the stall when i get the engine out, i will be getting some lower ratio tires since the tires hit the inside of the fender when i hit bumps, after i do that i might change the gears :nod:

There R several on-line calculators allowing U 2 test different senerios that will help dial in the final - easing repeated cash expenditures...
