Would it be benefecial to gasket match an exhaust manifold on a bone stock 200? There is a lot of material that looks like it could be removed when the gasket is lined up to the manifold.
Sure - I don't know of another engine with as much material left in the exhaust manifold as a Ford 6...
You might need a dyno to actually tell a difference, but it will make a difference - just how much is the question. It won't hurt, I'd go ahead and do it, just because it's easy if you've got a die grinder.
(and plus then you get to brag about having a ported manifold. :roll: )
