I've read the previous threads on converting from a gen to an alt.

My only problem is finding an alt bracket. Where can I find one or what can I use?

8) i got mine from auto krafters. when you install the alt, i recomend you install the lower bracket on the alt first, then bolt it to the engine as it makes the job easier.

I ordered the three wire to one wire conversion from falconparts.com. It was only $30 and it allows me to use the warning light in my dash. Cool! I also ordered the alt bracket and bolts.

When I get the alt installed, my head lights shouldn't go dim anymore when I come to a stop light/sign. The original generator was only rated at 20 amps and the engine idle rpm made a big difference.

Thanks for the info guys.
