I'm new to motor rebuilds and would like to rebuild my 200 I-6 myself. Othe than the Falcon Performance Handbook, are there other books for complete rebuilds? I note there are tons for the V-8's . . .
shop manuals for your specific car. gonna need quiet a bit of tools to do it. measurements have to be perfect. not really that hard im sure people here have done it . do searches here and look for what your specifc questions are. the falcon performance book doesnt deal with rebuilding tech for motors . it tells you what it you should do with how much power you want and easy power. i would pull the motor apart yourself send each part out that needs to be redone. dont just do a gasket rebuild . i dont really know alot about rebuilding motors so, cant help ya to much sorry
Thanks. I intend to make some modifications, but if I'm going to put a cam in and do some work to the head, I thought I might do a bit more as well. I'll look into the shop manuals for torque spec's, etc.
