Some of you know about Jacks hybrid American 200 block with a crossflow head.
there has been some mention of a EFI cam being popular.
Does anyone have the specs of the EFI cam?
I am looking at about 10:1CR, dual outlet extractors and dual exhaust, a 4bbl intake with a 450cfm Holley 4bbl(possibly a 600cfm one later). I already know where i can get a set of 351C full roller rockers used.
The cam I was looking at is the Crow 14892 which is about 280deg dur amd .510" lift. I have a C4 automatic but plan to have a 3000rpm stall converter and a shift kit in it before it is reinstalled.
If I do not go with a high stall converter I was looking at the 14776 which is a 268/278dur and .470"/.480" lift.
What are the hot tricks for the xflow heads? From what i have read the head flows fantastic and is sized almost perfect out of box for a 200 but that the intakes are the main bottleneck. If I get a Redline 4bbl intake what next?
The car is a 1980 Fox body Mustang which will weigh about 2600lbs and 3.55:1 Traction Lock 8.8" rear.
Also does anyone have any flow numbers for a stock xflow head?
Thanks for any info.
