There have been alot of posts concerning frustration with H/W conversions.
Well, here's another one.
I did too many upgrades at the same time to be sure which component is the problem.
I'm gonna throw it out to your collective genius to help me out.
Started with a very nicely tuned newly rebuilt stock '66 200ci C-4 AT Mustang.
Added an E0 head milled to 52cc, exhaust port divider, DSII ignition, H/W 5200 and a CSC-264-10-DHS cam from FSPP (used 351W exhaust springs, not sure if they're good enogh for that cam, but that's a different post)
I wanted to upgrade piece by piece to assess each individual upgrade. But, long story short, I couldn't and threw it all in together.
Engine runs nicely in park. However, when I put her in gear she stalls. Once the car has been driven some ( around 20-30 mins) then she will idle in Drive but very roughly. If I shift to Neutral at a stop light, the idle is amazingly smooth.
I'm gonna resize the jets per the tips in other posts.
Will this solve the problem?
or
Is the problem related to my Cam and stock torque converter that is only added to the equation only when I shift out of neutral?
Thanks....Buzz
