Head Gasket thickness?

Classic Inlines advertises Felpro head gaskets as .038 compressed thickness.
Has the felpro thickness changed since the writing of the falcon performance handbook?

8) felpro sells a number of head gaskets for the same engine, all of them with different thicknesses. mike either perused their catalog until he found the head gasket he wante dto sell, or he called the tech line and asked them if they had gasket with certain specs.
