just installed the pertronix ignitor and hi perf spark plug wires and hotter coil, all good. but the vacuum line at the distributor isn't sealing and the vacuum advance module won't work. I pulled it off the dizzy and it's working, the hard line to it won't seal. I tried a single flare which prompltly split, tried a bit of gasket sealant around the line and then slid the fitting over it but that didn't seal well either. hunting for a brass ferrule next like you'd use for plumbing. what should I be doing? and I cannot wait to get the new 1101 carb from pony carbs so I can switch to a normal distributor.... thanks anyone.

Swap to Duraspark II instead of pertronix, and then use a rubber hose. =) You can also put a nipple fitting on your load-o and it will work just as good if you cut the hardline and use the rubber hose.
