Greetings, again.
who knew that changing a fuel filter would cause me so much trouble today. The old one's threads sheared off when I tried to remove them - so i finally get them out, put the new filter on and cranked it just to find that my carb is overflowing with fuel: it wont quit flooding itself. I took the carb off, took the float chamber apart, found a small brass fitting lying in the bottom. I reseated it and noticed the float itself was sticking. so I freed it and tweaked it a little. I put it all back together, figuring I had figured it all out, but everytime I try to crank it, it just dumps fuel all over itself, drowning out. Any ideas? am I missing something?
P.S. it's the stock carter 1 bbl / 250 c.i.
